August 2008 New Universe Price Guide

My recent sale of a complete New Universe set of all 174 comics for 164.99 including shipping in my opinion solidifies the fact the New Universe is growing in importance and respect.  Although this sale seems remarkable to me in view of the few previous sales I've seen over the last few years, it doesn't seem overly so in view of a recent complete DP 7 set sold on eBay for 60.00 including shipping and the complete Psi-Force set sold on eBay for 65.00 including shipping.  Could we be in for a price surge on New Universe single issues?

All prices are for comics in nm condition.  A + indicates a price increase, a - indicates a price decrease from previous month.
Marvel Comics published 174 comics under The New Universe banner in 1986-1990.  In 2006 Marvel Comics published a series of one-shots and backups telling one story featuring each of the eight original New Universe titles.  These stories attempted to capture the original spirit of the original New Universe Comics titles, and are now included in this price guide below the original 174 New Universe Comics prices.  Marvel also published an Untold Tales Of The New Universe trade paperback and trade paperbacks entitled DP 7 Classic and Star Brand Classic.  Prices of these TPBs also appear below the original New Universe Comics prices.
